On May 28 at 6PM-7PM there will be an Open House at The Riverside Hotel in the Garnet Room, just off the main lobby, to hear about a proposed project. It’s a pedestrian bridge across the Boise River approximately 800 feet downstream from W Main Street; it will be known as The Sandbar Bridge.
For more information, see www.cityofboise.org/planningprocess and the documents are under this project number PLN26-00446.
About 10 people come to the meeting including three board members. We didn’t have a quorum to open the meeting, so we weren’t able to complete any association business including taking minutes, conducting elections, and adopting the latest bylaws. Official boards members are Justin, Brian, and Tasmyn.
To remedy this situation and be in compliance with our bylaws, the board will meet again in June, appoint two interested neighbors to the board, and then we will be able to proceed with board business.
If you were unable to attend the May 19 meeting and you’re interested in serving on the board, send an email to the board@westendboise.org.
West End is updating its bylaws. We would like our membership to review them over the next 30 days and respond to a feedback survey via this link: https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLSfBiqTwtbi…/viewform…
The original bylaws are posted on the website here: https://drive.google.com/…/1bX3h5F0bv7De…/view
The revised bylaws are here: https://docs.google.com/…/1O20sHPpXfI9546oCBi76…/edit…
Save the date! The West End invites you to join us and the City of Boise leaders and project partners on Monday, June 1, at 4 PM. Following short remarks and a ribbon cutting, attendees are invited to enjoy a sweet treat from Sunset Soft Serve.
The renovated park has new tennis and basketball courts, and updated playground equipment.
Come celebrate with us!
