Your neighborhood association is working with the City of Boise to explore options for a historic district for a portion of the West End and West Downtown Neighborhood Associations.
A 2020 survey of the homes from 16th to 27th Streets between State and Idaho was completed in 2020; it found:
- The entire 556 properties in the survey area have been assessed and the database submitted to the City for mapping.
- The preliminary mapping shows that aside from a handful of properties at the edges, there is a potential historic district spanning from 16th to 27th and between State and Idaho.
These houses are contributing to the historic character of our neighborhoods. Where is your house?
